Mormonism
Mormons are by far the most deceptive religious group out of all that are out there. Their Leaders  spend most of there time trying to cover up their extremely controversial views and outrageous claims that the book of Mormon actually makes. Members are spun into an emersive and ritualistic lifestyle complete with strict adherence to the law and blind obedience to 'The Church' as a whole. All teachings are sent out from Utah into all the wards (Mormon Churches) everywhere. In this way the pure teachings of the Mormon church are contained, leaving no room for interpretation.

They Possess The Whole Truth.......apparently....

The Book of Mormon serves as an extension to the Bible. It catalogues the founding of the Americas by Jewish settlers and Christ's' ministry as he walked on our soil. The Bible itself has apparently been ms-translated over the years and cannot be trusted as a truthful document. The book of Mormon is the new Bible. A book free from errors and ms-translations. If you don't believe in this book then you do not have the 'whole truth' of the gospel message.

We Can Be Gods?

If you are a Mormon you can. In fact Mormons view God as someone who started of as a Human and, through acts of righteousness and obedience, ascended to become the omnipotent being that he is today. When His earthly life ended, a planet was given him as well as many 'spiritual wives' to spend eternity with. Every Mormons' pursuit on this earth to eventually become God and rule over a planet of their own. If your a Mormon woman, sorry, the reward of being God is strictly for the gents. The glory of being a woman in the afterlife is to become a spiritual wife to her husband who, hopefully, was righteous enough to become a God. If he wasn't righteous enough, one of the lower levels of Heaven will be sufficient for her and her family.

God Is Our Equal.

This presents a catastrophic problem in how Mormons view God. Every door they knock on, every convert they make, every good deed they perform come not from a love and adoration to God but out of pride and selfish ambition. They are merely adding to their spiritual resume in preparation for the afterlife. God is not to be worshipped. Why would anyone worship someone that they will one day become?  This view quickly turns to a lifestyle of heavy legalism and pride. The grace that God offers through Christ becomes  insulting.

Holy Underwear

All Mormons are required to wear holy undergarments. They believe that wearing these clothes will protect them from the powers of evil. This aspect of their faith is never openly discussed. In fact, if you ask them about the garments, they will either quickly change the subject or sheepishly avoid the question. This is because they, themselves know how idiotic it must sound enplaning how a piece of fabric is able to repel demons. The garments themselves look very plain. They are white and made from a thin, stretchy material. Symbols and embroidery can sometimes be attached to the garments

The Temple of Doom

You do not have to talk to a Mormon long before their beloved temple comes into the conversation. It is perhaps the most important ideology in their faith. To them, it is the only place on this evil world that is pure and free from corruption. It is also one of their closest guarded secrets. Anything and everything that goes on in the temple is kept quiet. If you would flat out ask a Mormon what goes on in that place they would simply tell you that it is too 'sacred' to discuss.
Every major city in the United States has a temple. There are also many places in other countries and oversees that have temples to. They truly are huge and elaborate structures. A gold statue of the Angel Moroni sits atop the steeple. Beautiful architecture adorns the outside walls and vast gardens usually surround the building. One look at the building up close and you'll see that no expense has been with held.

Temple Rituals Exposed

Once Mormons have been faithful to the church for a least 1 year, they are granted permission to enter the temple. They are given a card (much like a bus pass) called the temple recommend. On it sates there name and I.d. number. It is considered a privilege to have access to the temple so any mis behavior or failure to pay to tithes results in a suspension of the temple recommend.

Code Name

Every Mormon has one. They're not  weird or creepy but they do keep it a secret. The names come from the Bible and  the Book of Mormon. It could be Andrew or Josiah or Naomi etc. Women have to tell there husbands what there new heavenly names but the husbands don't tell anyone.
In the afterlife, The husband (if he has become a god) can choose to resurrect his wife by calling out her heavenly name. If this is the case then the wife will join her husband and produce many spiritual babies to inhabit the new world.

The Cleansing

Everyone has to cleansed before entering the temple. The process involves getting completely naked and being anointed from head to toe in oil. In the Book 'Out of Mormonism,' The woman author describes this ritual as being a very sensual; almost defiling experience. The purpose is simple: In order to be in this incredible holy place you must properly be cleansed of the corruption that exists in the outside world.

Holy Garments

After the anointing with oil is complete, holy clothes are given. Not much explanation is needed. Simply put, the  garments look like a white, flowing bed sheet made into a makeshift robe. They are also required to wear a special holy hat (men only). This looks like a tall shef's cap. These garments are meant to sanctify the person while in the holy temple.

Baptism of the Dead

This is one of the more controversial rituals performed in the temple. The simplest way of explaining what this is, is baptism 'in proxy' of another person. The other person being dead. This ritual is to save any realities who have died in the past without the knowledge of Christ. In doing this, the glory of heaven and all it's blessings becomes available to the ones separated from Christ in death. I will not even begin to explain how much of scripture this ritual contradicts. One verse I will give is this: Hebrews 9:27 -" And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment."  After death there are no second chances.

The Veil

More bed sheets. This one is massive. It reaches from floor to ceiling and is adorned with various shapes and cut outs. Behind this veil is a temple worker playing the part of God. Another temple worker stands to the side plays the role as mediator between each person and God. One by one Mormons line up for this intimate encounter. The man behind the curtain then grabs each individual in a tight embrace and holds them. The mediator then quotes," Health to the navel; marrow to the bones; strength to the loins and the sinews; power in the priesthood be upon me and my posterity through all generations of time and throughout eternity."

The Genesis Room

This is where the account of creation and the garden of Eden are played out in full theater.  I think, however, the director of this play took way too much artistic liberty to the original story. Adam is actually the angel Gabriel, Satan and Jesus are brothers and the whole fall of man thing comes off as a celebration, not as the worse thing that could of ever happened. But to Mormons, it was this event that opened our eyes and created the means to becoming God one day. (Genesis 3:4) "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman."For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." He was lying people! The father of all lies really does...well...only lie. He's really good at it. Besides, basing an entire Ideology around the words of Satan isn't the smartest thing to do.

The Celestial Room

This room is where marriages are sealed for eternity. Regular weddings do not count according to Mormons. Getting 'sealed' in the temple is the way to keep your family together in the afterlife. This ritual is self explanatory. I'll give you a verse that clarifies the subject "35 But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, 36 and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God's children, since they are children of the resurrection."

The Anatomy of Joseph Smith

Mormons claim that The entire LDS belief system stands on the credibility of their founder and prophet Joseph Smith. Although any honest historian knows the controversy that surrounded Joseph Smith's life, Mormons go to great lengths defending his honesty and credibility. To them he was the chosen one of God. The one that would bring God's new revelation to his people. To the courts of his day, however, he was a criminal. March 20, 1826 Joseph stood before a New York court and was found guilty of his involvement in the occult (peep stones) and money digging. The Church today denied these events ever took place. It's to bad for them that the court legal documents still exist to this day. Read what former Mormon historian Dr. D Michael Quinn says about Joseph Smith's early days. He writes, "Joseph Smith, the founding prophet and president of the new church organized on 6 April 1830, had unquestionably participated in treasure seeking and seer stone divination and had apparently also used divining rods, talismans, and implements of ritual magic. His father, one of the eight witnesses to the divinity of the book of Mormon and later the church patriarch, had also participated in diving and the quest for treasure." Dr. Quinn was later excommunicated from the Mormon church.

There is absolutely zero scientific evidence to defend the book of Mormon. In fact, it's the opposite. Science, DNA and archeological evidence all disprove Mormonism's claims. No one can find any remaining scraps left behind by the incredibly massive civilization that the book of Mormon says existed here in North America.  The book of Mormon also states that Jewish settlers colonized North America, yet the DNA of American natives shows no trace of Jewish decent. The list goes on and on. The Bible and Christianity have gained momentum from it's archeological and scientific accuracy and will continue to do so. Meanwhile, Mormon scientists and historians have stumbled in the face of true scrutiny.
